Supplier workshop

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE)  invites all prospective suppliers to attend its supplier workshops. This is an information sharing session about the departmental procurement plan and possible business opportunities available in the department. Moreover, the procurement process and how to respond to advertised bids (request for quotations and tenders).

The department will require goods and services and works (services related to construction and infrastructure projects), where All the projects valued above R1,000,000.00 will be advertised on various platforms including the national media, National Treasury E-Tender Portal and the department’s website.

Target audience / stakeholders

All women, youth, people living with disabilities, people from rural or underdeveloped areas or townships, cooperative and people who are military veterans are encouraged to attend these sessions.

All South African statutory firms and associations, organisations for people living with disabilities, women in business and any other organisations interested in pursuing procurement opportunities with the department are also invited to attend these sessions.
