Publication of the biodiversity management plan for the Southern Ground-Hornbill (bucorvus leadbeateri) for implementation and assigning of responsibility for the implementation thereof to the South African National Biodiversity Institute

The Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Ms Barbara Dallas Creecy, hereby gives notice of her publication of the Biodiversity Management Plan for the Southern Ground-Hornbill (Bucorvus leadbeateri) (BMP for the Southern Ground-Hornbill), for implementation in the Government Gazette, in terms of section 43(1)(b) and 43(3)(a) and (b) of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act, 2004 (Act No. 10 of 2004). .

In terms of section 43(2) and 43(3)(c) of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act, 2004 (Act No. 10 of 2004), the Minister has assigned the responsibility for implementation of the BMP for the Southern Ground-Hornbill to the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI).
