Minister Creecy convenes stakeholder engagement on improved environmental assessment processes

Minister Barbra Creecy will convene a virtual stakeholder engagement on improved environmental assessment processes on Thursday, 21 July 2022.

In light of the electricity constraints being experienced in South Africa, Minister Creecy will lead the stakeholder engagement session on measures her department will put in place to improve the efficiency of the environmental assessment process to facilitate the  development of solar PV and some transmission infrastructure in areas of low to medium environmental sensitivity.
