Deputy Minister Singh to lead the Good Green Deeds Clean-Up Drive at Chartsglen Station, Chatsworth

The Deputy Minister Mr Narend Singh, in collaboration with the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality and the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), will lead the clean-up initiative and service delivery intervention at Chartsglen Station in Chatsworth, KwaZulu-Natal on 06 December 2024.
This initiative forms part of the Good Green Deeds Campaign launched by President Cyril Ramaphosa on 8 March 2019, aimed at promoting effective waste management to create cleaner and healthier living spaces.
PRASA has faced challenges of illegal dumping and littering near the Chartsglen Station due to unauthorized access by nearby communities. This intervention seeks to address these environmental challenges while promoting sustainable living practices.
