Deputy Minister Narend Singh to lead the International Coastal Clean-Up Day activities

The Deputy Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, Mr Narend Singh will lead the 2025 International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) Day at Reunion Park Beach, Isipingo, on 20 September 2025.

This year’s global theme, “SEA THE CHANGE,” calls on us all to rethink our relationship with waste and to take collective action for cleaner, healthier oceans. The 2025 ICC is a partnership between the DFFE and eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality with the aim of addressing coastal pollution and taking a step towards protecting marine life, restoring our coastlines, and securing a sustainable future.
